Eastern Connecticut Ballet Outreach
Eastern Connecticut Ballet is committed to bringing the joys of this timeless
and universal art form to all members of the community. Toward this end,
ECB offers a variety of services and programs. If you wish to take advantage

Outreach Performances
Since its inception, ECB has shared its resources with the community by
performing free of charge for thousands of Southeastern Connecticut
school children often working with teachers in co-curricular activities.
Outreach performances include:
- Nutcracker and other ballets at the Garde Arts Center for 35,000
school children - Green Eggs & Ham for 1,400 New London school children at
Connecticut College - Contemporary and classical variations in assembly programs at
East Lyme and Old Lyme Elementary schools - Programs for the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Connecticut and
in Haddam Killingworth for the Keys Arts Festival
Outreach Teaching
ECB teachers have organized and lead enrichment programs at schools
& community organizations throughout the region.
- Nutcracker assemblies sponsored by the Community Foundation of
Southeastern CT in 12 regional schools.
- Curiosity Shop – Lyme Consolidated School
- East Lyme – Flanders School
- GRASP – Lyme Center School
- Lyme Recreation Department
- Moriarty School in Norwich
- New London Elementary Schools – Nutcracker workshops
